We have been supplying information to commercial organisations and public bodies on training and development for over 10 years. We now offer information on scheduled, open / public courses on-line.

Underoak provides inexpensive marketing for your courses.

Our registration process cuts down on time-wasting casual browsers. Trainer's feedback tells us that about 1 in 4 email enquiries through our site will result in a booking. This ratio, however, may vary with the type of course and how quickly enquiries are handled.

We have our blue-chip registered user base and a rapid rate of growth which we believe to be unmatched.

Underoak takes a hands-off approach, enabling the trainer to conduct all the discussions with the course searcher themselves and to build their own relationships.

We used to charge an annual subscription; we now charge a small fee each time you (the trainer) pick up the contact details for the person who makes an email enquiry. This fee will depend upon the value of the potential booking. With each email enquiry you will be advised of the charge which you can either agree to pay using PayPal / Credit Card / Switch etc. or you can ignore and incur no charge.

You will receive web-link enquiries for free. NHS courses are listed for free as well those of some charities.

It depends on the cost per person for each training event multiplied by the number of email enquiries that you receive. We would roughly expect the overall cost of marketing your courses to approximately equal 7% of the value of the bookings that you receive through us. We guarantee that if your last 10 enquiries have yielded no bookings then we will refund the cost of those ten enquiries. Please see our course Testimonials.

Underoak had 175,000 individual course searches in 2004 and in 2005 there were over 317,000 searches on the site (an 81% increase on 2004)and in 2006 there were 550,000 searches. Currently we have about 2000 searches each day.

This is done mostly through word of mouth and on the Web.

Please email us your schedule giving course title, duration, cost, location, date and - if necessary - a short note identifying your target audience or prerequisites for attendance.

Please can you ensure that you send us, either by e-mail or by post, your courses details (title, location, price, duration and dates) with as long a lead time as possible. We have found our website is not effective for course schedules of less than 3 months lead time.
