Overview

Emergency First Aid at WorkThe CIEH Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work is accredited by Ofqual, ensuring that the training courses you provide are of the highest quality.

The CIEH offers unique course materials to help candidates in completing this new qualification. Our course book – Principles of Emergency First Aid at Work – outlines the skills required for first aiders in lower-risk workplaces to manage first aid calmly and confidently.

What this means for candidates

Successfully completing the CIEH Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work course will qualify candidates to become a first aider in their workplace.

In addition to receiving a certificate, each successful candidate will receive a wallet-sized ID card, stating that they are a qualified first aider

Who is it for?

Anyone working in a low risk environment, ie offices, retail premises etc

What will I learn?

Roles and responsibilities.
You will be able to assess a casualty, manage an unconscious casualty, demonstrate effective CPR, manage someone who is choking, bleeding or shocked and treat minor injuries sustained in the workplace

How will I be assessed?

A multichoice questionaire and a short practical assessment, observed by your trainer
