This qualification is aimed at food handlers in catering, retail or manufacturing businesses, who have previously achieved the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering/Retail/Manufacturing to remind them of their responsibilities towards food safety, keep their knowledge up-to-date and become aware of any changes in legislation.

Successful completion of the training programme and assessment will enable candidates to understand:
Their personal responsibility for food safety
The importance of keeping themselves clean and hygienic
How working areas are kept clean and hygienic
The importance of keeping food safe

How will I be assessed?

There is a short multi-choice test at the end of the course. Candidates are required to correctly answer 20 out of 30 questions in order to achieve a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering, Retail or Manufacturing (Refresher). Tests can be conducted orally if required. QCA Accredited

The duration of the course is 3 hours. We usually aim to start the course at either, 9.00am, 1.00pm or 5.00pm.
