Who is it for?

■ Anyone responsible for Health and Safety.
COSHH applies to all companies from
small builders to large chemical plants
■ Managers and staff, from all functions, who
will be involved in carrying out the
assessment of hazard and risk
■ Managers from companies considering
their first COSHH assessment - this course
is aimed at the uninitiated

What will I learn?

The objective of the COSHH Regulations is to
prevent or control exposure to substances that
are hazardous to health.
This one-day course is suitable for all
employees who may be actively involved in
compliance with COSHH and covers the
regulations in sufficient depth to enable
delegates to carry out a risk assessment.
Delegates will be able to:
■ Identify the requirements of the COSHH
Regulations
■ Apply the requirements of COSHH to their
own workplace
■ Carry out simple risk assessments and
recognise when specialist support is
needed
