Who is it for?

This course is designed for all staff and managers who have been assigned duties as fire wardens within their organizations.

What will I learn?

By the end of the course, candidates will:
*Better understand current fire safety legislation
*Know their responsibilities under the new Regulatory Reform(Fire Safety)Order
*Better understand and interpret the requirements placed on companies by the Fire Authorities
*Be able to formulate a fire routine
*Be better equipped to raise the issue of fire awareness
*Identify the types of fire extinguisher available and select the appropriate extinguisher
*Use an extinguisher with confidence

How will I be assessed?

There is a short multi-choice test at the end of the course. Candidates are required to correctly answer 8 out of 12 questions in order to achieve a Fire Safety Certificate, issued by Envesca Ltd.

Additional Notes

The duration of the course is 2 ½ - 3 hours. We aim to start the course at 10.00am and it usually finishes around 12.30pm.
