Overview

The course is designed to make delegates aware of the roles and responsibilities of the Engineer's site staff, in particular the role of the Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer, based on the ICE Conditions of Contract.

The course will concentrate on site organization, the role of the Resident Engineer and staff in supervision of the works and ensuring compliance with the contract, quality in relation to the specification. Dealing with claims and safety on site.

Throughout the course emphasis will be placed on the practical aspects of site supervision, particularly in dealing with workmanship and compliance with the contract.
