Overview

AM2 ASSESSMENT OF OCCUPATIONAL COMPETENCE
The AM2 Assessment of Occupational Competence skill tests are taken by electrical installation apprentices towards the end of their training and may also be taken by experienced electricians who wish to use the tests to accredit practical experience and register with JIB. The programme comprises a series of practical exercises and assessments and a computer based multi choice examination. The results are assessed by JTL under the direction of the awarding body NET. The AM2 Assessment of Occupational Competence comprises:
A. Composite Installation from TP&N Distribution Board including Safe Isolation & Safe Working
B. Inspection and Testing of the completed composite installation
C. Fault Diagnosis and Rectification
D. On-Line Assessment of Knowledge
